B-LINE products featured in the world of showbiz are plentiful, both before as well as now.
In 1971 the Rodolfo Bonetto 4/4 coffee table starred with Sean Connery in “007 – Diamonds are forever” while more recently, Hollywood chose the BOBY trolley storage unit (a Joe Colombo design) for the 2013 science fiction film “Oblivion”. In the Italian production “Come è bello far l’amore” instead, the colourful Quby modular bookcase (designed by Stefan Bench) features prominently in the home of the main lead.
And the latest successes? The small Gemma armchair (a Karim Rashid design) queened it over the furnishings at CLUB 7 during Venice’s 71st International Film Festival, while the Woopy series seating collection (designed by Karim Rashid) completes the stage setting of “The Chef” television programme (La5).
All these “cameos” are proof of the originality and versatility of B-LINE products, capable, should it be required, of turning into veritable stars!
